The following Top 50 medical meeting list is compiled based on all healthcare events reported to HCEA taking place during 2013 in the United States. Rank for this list is determined by professional attendance.
Total attendance is defined as all registered participants at an event, including exhibitors, sponsors, media and other attendees who may not be clinical or healthcare-related professionals. Professional attendance is defined as all non-exhibiting healthcare-related professionals, including: physicians, nurses, clinical technicians, therapeutic specialists, scientists, researchers, medical administrators and other healthcare-related technical professionals .
Reported figures include both actual and rounded attendance figures, which are self-reported by the event organizers.
